Toyota has issued these first pictures of its new Yaris supermini. It's the third-generation Toyota Yaris and seems to mix some of the Vauxhall Corsa creases with the proportions of a Renault Clio. In a bid to eek a few more years out of its record-breaking Veyron hypercar, Bugatti has embarked on a series of Veyron ‘Legends’. This, the Veyron ‘Meo Constantini’ edition, is the third and latest instalment in the Legends line-up so far. Just three examples of the £1.7 million Bugatti will be made for those customers wanting an ultra-exclusive open top Veyron.
MOTs scrapped for Classic Cars
The Department for Transport has announced it is scrapping MOT tests for cars registered before 1960. In a move that probably won’t make much difference to owners – but will at least cut down on red tape – the Department of Transport has announced that from 18th November 2012 owners of cars registered before 1960 will no longer require an annual MOT. The argument for the change is that owners of classic and historic cars have a much lower accident and MOT failure rate than other vehicles on the road.
